Shawna's goal is to make exercise apart of our communities daily routine by making it fun and convenient! She believes in fearless movement and uses current, best practices to develop a balanced fitness program that incorporates strength training, flexibility and endurance. She believes pilates is the answer to get into the best shape of your life!

Tiana, General Manager
Tiana, a seasoned General Manager with a master's degree in Criminal Justice, transitioned from a career in criminal justice to full-time fitness after finding solace and empowerment in Pilates during the pandemic. She now advocates for strength training and Pilates, inspiring and transforming clients with her intense classes aimed at personal growth and resilience.

Gyselle, Brand Coordinator
Gyselle is a recent graduate of the University of Arizona, where she earned a Master's degree in Marketing. Combining her passion for digital marketing with her love of Pilates, Gyselle thrives in her role as the Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager at IBP.

Nani, Instructor
Nani is a dynamic Pilates instructor with a rich background as a former dancer. Her love for movement and creativity shines through in her classes, where she guides clients in exploring diverse ways to connect with their bodies. Her attention to detail ensures clients receives the care and instruction they need in class. Outside the studio, she is an environmental engineer, blending her passion for sustainability with her commitment to health and well-being.

Ashley, an proud IBP member from Tucson, UofA grad, shares passion for Pilates. Formerly busy with work nationwide, now blends yoga and plyometrics at In Balance studio. Uses Pilates for growth, welcomes all body types. Enjoys morning sessions with dedicated individuals.

Michelle, Instructor
In 2004, Michelle found Pilates during her Summer break. Despite lacking athleticism or dance skills, Pilates became her passion, inspiring creativity, strength, and mindfulness. Trained at Center Studio Pilates & Physical Therapy in Burbank, CA, she incorporates Pilates into daily life. Michelle sees Pilates as a way to reduce stress with graceful movement and mindfulness. Her teaching emphasizes playful and mindful movements tailored to each person's needs.

Aimee is a Tucson native passionate about animals, music, food, and movement. She quickly fell in love with Pilates and dove into Teacher Training with a mission to create a positive, expressive, and accepting environment for her clients. Aimee enjoys mixing barre into her classes that make you feel the burn and keep you coming back for more.

After moving from New York City to Tucson, Jayden discovered her passion for reformer Pilates. A proud University of California, Berkeley graduate, she aims to make movement enjoyable and accessible for everyone. Her inclusive classes are challenging yet modifiable, catering to all fitness levels and body types. Jayden’s uplifting teaching style ensures you leave her sessions feeling empowered and energized!

Mallory has transitioned into Pilates to help others, bringing her background in psychology and healthcare to her practice. She is passionate about empowering clients to make informed decisions and fosters a supportive environment in her classes with clear cueing and modifications. Outside the studio, Mallory enjoys reading and building personal connections, and she looks forward to growing alongside her clients.

Hannah, Apprentice
Hannah is an emergency department nurse who discovered her love for Pilates a few years ago while looking for ways to achieve balance in her life. She enjoys combining movement and mindfulness to help others find balance in their minds, control of their bodies, and strength in their movement. Pilates is the one hour a day during which we become immersed in ourselves and become physically and mentally stronger.

Leticia, a first-generation Hispanic from Tucson, has a passion for sports and fitness. She played volleyball, soccer, and danced folklórico, while also enjoying hiking and sand volleyball. In early 2024, she discovered Pilates, which inspired her to share the experience with others. Leticia aims to offer challenging workouts that enhance mindfulness and body awareness.

Kathryn holds a BFA in Dance and leverages her extensive movement and kinesiology expertise to educate and empower her students. Passionate about Pilates, she enjoys challenging both her clients and herself. Her positive and supportive teaching style leaves participants feeling accomplished and confident.

Kait is a Physical Therapist Assistant and an apprentice Pilates instructor, passionate about helping others enhance their strength, mobility, and overall well-being. Her experience in physical therapy seamlessly complements her Pilates teaching, empowering clients to achieve healthier, more balanced lives.

Kaleigh, passionate about fitness, felt uninspired at the gym and sought change. After trying Pilates, she loved its supportive atmosphere and joint benefits. Encouraged by her experience, she enrolled in teacher training to share her enthusiasm with others. She enjoys traveling, hiking, snowboarding, and horseback riding in her leisure time.

Alycia is a dedicated Social Worker Supervisor at Liogue Senior Center and also serves as the Workforce Development Coordinator at Sonoran Pueblo Contracting. Outside of work, she enjoys Pilates, hiking, fashion, and music concerts.

Natalie, Instructor
Natalie, a Pilates instructor from NYC, now in Tucson since 1994. With a Bachelor's in Respiratory Science and passion for Pilates since 2000s, she offers tailored classes for seniors and those with Parkinson's. National certification in mat work, reformer, and apparatus, catering to all fitness levels. Students feel energized and stronger after her sessions.

Dana, Instructor
Dana, a San Diego, CA native, began dancing at the age of four and graduated in 2009 with a BA in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Arizona. After undergoing surgeries in 2018, she turned to Reformer Pilates to regain her strength and flexibility. Now, Dana teaches dance-inspired movements that emphasize progress over perfection while enjoying activities like reading, knitting, and practicing Pilates with her husband and two daughters.

Suzan, Instructor
Suzan, a Tucson native, finds joy in roller-skating, kickboxing, and yoga alongside her passion for Pilates. Pilates became a crucial part of her life post a first responder injury. Certified in Mat and Reformer Pilates, Suzan is also a licensed physical therapist assistant since 2007. Her expertise extends to certifications in LSVT BIG Parkinson and FEMA Mass Casualty/Disaster Preparedness.

Steph is a Labor and Delivery RN and NP student specializing in Women’s Health and Midwifery. She discovered Pilates during the pandemic as a way to stay active and maintain balance in her life. What began as a personal journey soon blossomed into a deep passion for the practice, leading her to train as an instructor through IBP’s Teacher Training program.
